International Conductors Institute of Indonesia - ICII
in Manado, Indonesia, 16 - 20 June 2008

The ICII has mission to foster, promote, and support choral conductors across Southeast Asia and elsewhere through an internationally standardized and structured curriculum, expert teacher-mentors, and an ongoing commitment to the complete education of musicians. The institute will guide conductors of all experience levels from across Southeast Asia and elsewhere through personalized and group instruction in the art of conducting. The teachers for 2008 are Prof. André de Quadros (Boston University, USA) and Miguel Felipe (Boston University, USA).

World Choir Games
in Graz, Austria, 9 - 19 July 2008

The largest and most successful choir competition of the world will find its continuation in Austria. Graz, capital city of the province of Styria, is at the crossroads between different European cultures from the east and west, north and south. The unique old city centre is one of UNESCO’s world cultural heritage sites. In the year 2003 Graz was the spectacular cultural capital of Europe.
