Studio Cantorum Choir founded by Tommyanto Kandisaputra in 1992, starting with some kinds of affections towards music which is developed by a groups of youngsters with strong desires recognized the quality of the music itself.
CONCERTS
In the beginning, the former members were nevertheless the students of an outstanding choir in Bandung who had greatly achieved the first place in many high school choir competition in Indonesia. As time goes by, the members come from the various backgrounds and churches and has been performing almost 20 concerts until now, such as the CREATION - F.J. Haydn, the MESSIAH - G.F. Handel, The ELIJAH - F. Mendelsohn, The GREAT MASS, KV. 427 - W.A. Mozart (Indonesian premiere) The MASS in E-Flat - F. Shubert, The REQUIEM - G. Faure, and other various concerts.
ACHIEVEMENTS
As the Gold Diploma achiever in the Busan APEC Choral Festival and Competition November 2005 and Hong Kong International Youth and Children Choir Festival 2006 and Silver Medal in The 4th World Choir Games, Xiamen, China 2006, and Silver Medal in The 1st Asian Choir Games, Jakarta, Indonesia 2007, the regular activities of Studio Cantorum Choir is serving in various churches in Bandung and Cities around, beside rehearsing many repertoire to be performed.
